Leicester city will play host to Swansea city in today's Barclay's premier League game. A game that will take them a step closer to winning the league tittle should they manage to win. The foxs are currently top of the league table with 73 points,  5 above their closest rivals Tottenham. In their last game they were held to 2-2 draw by west ham United. With just four games remaining to the end of the season, they should hope to bounce back to winning ways should they want to make their dream of winning the league a reality. Seeing that their remaining games are tough games at least on paper.
Swansea who have managed to escape relegation will be hoping for a win here to spoil Leicester city tittle hopes. They were beaten in their last game by Newcastle United.  Swansea city are currently 13 in the league with 47 points.

Leicester city with be without their top scorer Jamie Vardy after he was sent off last week for two yellow cards offense. Vardy may also miss their next match against Manchester United after the FA charge him with improper conduct.

A result that ensure they still has a chance to avoid relegation. They are currently a point behind Norwich city with a game in hand. They will have to survival an arsenal side that is fighting for the top four and need to win in order to overtake Manchester city into third place. The black cats have gone six games without a win before beating Norwich city, hopefully that crucial win can give them a boost as they look to cause an upset against arsenal.

Arsenal on their own are fighting for a top four finish again this year after missing out on the tittle after starting brightly from the beginning of the season. The gunners who won their reschedule game against west brom with star forward Alexis Sanchez scoring both goals in the first half of the game, will be hoping for a win today to leapfrog Manchester city into third place.

Arsenal 1: 1 Crystal Palace match report

Arsenal continue their poor run of form after they were held to a 1: 1 draw by crystal Palace at home. The gunners took the lead in the last minute of the first half when star striker Alexis Sanchez rose high and headed an over the top pass from danny welbeck to give the gunners the lead.
The second half begin and in moments later, Ledley saw a yellow card for a foul on Alexis Sanchez. Ozil took the resulted free kick which was close but over the goal post.
Former Arsenal and Man city striker Emmanuel Adebayor came on to replace Wickham in the 64th minute as palace look for an equalizer.
Danny Welbeck force a save from the goalkeeper with a flying shot, with Mohammed Elneny shooting the rebounce but it was blocked by palace defense.
Mesut Ozil pull in a fine cross that was headed by Alexis Sanchez but went wide in the in the 66th minute.
Emmanuel Adebayor was booed by arsenal fans wherever he touches the ball.
Alexis Sanchez miss a header from a foul on Moreal that was taken quickly by Mesut Ozil as the gunners keep pressing for a second goal to kill the game. Moreal also came close to scoring but his shot was block by palace defense.
Scot Dann saw a yellow card for a foul on Danny welbeck.  Olivia Giroud came on to replace Danny welbeck and Alex Iwobi was replace by Aaron ramsey as wenger made a double substitution, with palace also making a substitution of their own.

Leicester city 2: 2 west ham united match report

Leicester’s city dream of winning the Barclay’s English premier league is gradually becoming a reality after they played a 2:2 draw with west ham united at home. The fox surprising run to the top of the table continues with a brilliant game against west ham. Vardy scored the first goal after the game after Kante took a pass from Mahrez and run some yard before releasing Jamie Vardy on the left who unleashed a thunderous shot with his left foot to score his 22nd goals of the season, giving Leicester city the lead.
Payet got a yellow card for a challenge on Vardy in the 43rd minute of the game. With both side still trying to make something of the game, west ham’s Antonio took a fine shot that went over the goal post in the stoppage time of the first half.  The first of ended with Vardy’s goal the only thing separating the teams.
Andy Carroll came on in the beginning of the second half and he was involved in most of west ham’s attack. In the 50th minute, west ham’s Andy Carroll saw a fine header went wide from a corner kick that was taken by west ham.
Minutes later, Vardy got a second yellow card for diving inside west ham’s 18 yard. The fall was a clear dive and the referee had no choice but to book him, as a result he was sent off.
Noble was replaced in the 63rd minute by Lazini. Few minutes later Nigerian and west ham striker Amunike had a chance on goal but the Nigerian shot went over the bar. Later Morgan saw a yellow card for a hash tackle on Andy Carroll.
Mahrez who was unusually quite all through the game was replaced by Amarty in the 78th minute.
West ham united got a free kick which was taken by Payet but the referee gave united a penalty after morgan  pull down a west ham player. Andy Carroll scored from the resulted penalty to equalize for west ham united. From minutes later west ham’s Creswell scored a fantastic goal with a shot from the left to give west ham united the lead for the first time in the game. But west ham could not collect all three points after Andy Carroll brought down Kante in the penalty area and the referee gave Leicester city a penalty that was converted by ulao to end the game in a draw.

Manchester united 1:0 Aston villa match report

Aston villa were relegated today they lost away to Manchester united in the Barclay’s English primier league. The villains who needed at least a draw in today’s game could not produce a performance that would have kept them in the top flight. A goal from united youngster Rashford was enough to relegate Aston villa to the second division of English football.

United were the better side from the sound of the whistle and could have gone in front early on had Mata not miss a clear chance. The Spain midfielder was put through on goal by Rashford but the midfielder miss it.  With that chance gone, the game was less entertaining until the 32nd minute when Antonio Valencia   collected a long pass from Rooney and send a low cross into the 18 yard box for youngster Rashford to tap home to give untied the lead. The goal which was Rashford’s  seventh goals in 12 matches in all competition later prove to be the only goal in the game, but was enough to send Aston villa to the second division.

United had a lot of chance to double the lead in the second half but could not take them. Rashford who was brilliant all through the time he was on the pitch miss a chance later on. Mata later force a fine save from Aston villa goalkeeper after he was given a pass from a corner kick which Aston villa players fail to defend, but their goalkeeper save them with a fine save.
Rooney was replaced by lingard as united push for more goals. In the 76th minute, united made a second substitution by bringing on Antonio Martial to replace Rashford.

In the 82nd minute, Aston villa substituted Richardson and bring on Gestede and they look for equalizer. They later had a good chance in the 84th minute when their headed corner hit the bar.
With this result, united are still in 5th position and Aston villa are now relegated from the top flight.

Teams are trying to stay in good position in the league table and as such there are a lot of entertaining and hard matches for all the teams. Southampton who are currently 7th in the league table will be visiting 12th placed Everton.  Everton have FA cup semifinal clash with Manchester united at Wembley, will be hoping to win or settle for a draw in this game. Manager Roberto Martinez told Everton’s official YouTube channel that he could make a number of changes for his side’s match against Southampton. With Everton in 12th place in the table, their aim this term is to beat Manchester united in the FA cup semifinal and go on to win the FA cup in the final at Wembley. With Everton’s recent disappointment in the league, winning the FA cup will be a better consolation for their fans. Southampton on their own could make a run for the top four spot if they can beat Everton at Godison Park. They are in 7th position with 50 points, three points below fourth place Manchester city.

Manchester united will be hoping to bounce back from their poor performance last week against tottenham, united were beating 3 goals to none by Tottenham in a game that was not actually reflected on the score line. Tottenham produce a six minute brilliant football to beat man united that day. With the race for champion’s league position getting hot, united will be hoping to win this game so as to put pressure on city that are above in the last champion’s league spot. Aston villa that are all but relegated will be playing for their pride.

Relegation strugglers Newcastle will welcome an inform Swansea. This is a must win game for united who are trying to avoid relegation. The Magpies are in 19th position with just 25 points, six points below the safe zone. But they will have to beat an inform Swansea side that beat Chelsea last week. With their closest rivals Norwich and Sunderland playing against each other, this give united an opportunity to leapfrog Sunderland if they win and Sunderland lose.

Chelsea will be playing host to man city in the star match of the week. ARSENAL VS CRYSTAL PALACE MATCH REVIEW

Arsenal will play host to crystal palace on Sunday in the English premier league. The gunners who have currently fall out of the tittle race will be hoping to take all three points as they aim to pip Tottenham hotspur to second place in the league table. The spurs are leading the gunners with six points and are in second place though arsenal has an outstanding match to look forward to. Leicester city are far away from the gunners in top spot with thirteen points gap, and with their current form, i don’t think arsenal can catch up with them though manager Wenger believe his side can do it. But to do that, they will have to win all their remaining matches and hope that Leicester city and Tottenham hotspur will both have a poor run of form in their remaining six matches. And they have to start by beating crystal palace on Sunday. But before that game, Leicester city may give the gunners a sixteen points gap if they are able to beat west ham, who cause the gunners to drop two points after getting two early goals in the first half but two quick goals from west ham start striker Andy Carroll ended the first half in a draw. Carroll scored another goal in the second half to complete a hat trick before gunner’s defender Koscielny level the score to make sure both teams share the points in this game.
Since Tottenham hotspur who are in second place won’t be playing until Monday night, the gunner can close the gap between them and Tottenham if they manage a win on Sunday. With city just two points behind arsenal in fourth place, the gunners cannot afford to either draw or lose this game. Though city may go above arsenal temporally if they defeat Chelsea on Saturday.
With the gunners not having fresh injuries to worry about and with players returning from injury, the gunners will have to win this game. Goalkeeper Petr Cech may start in goal after returning from injury and spending the last two games on the bench. Defender Mertesacker may replace Gabriel after his woeful performance against west ham last week. In front I think Giroud may get the node over Welbeck who was very poor against west ham.
Crystal palace on their own will be hoping to pull an upset at the emirate when they visit the gunners. Having draw their last match against Everton, and before that, they had won against Norwich. I think they will be heading into this game with high confidence and will hope to give Arsenal a run for their money. Crystal palace will be having an eye on their upcoming FA cup semi final clash with Watford, so manager Allen Pardew will have to make some rotation in his starting eleven. Palace is currently in 16th position with 38 points.

 the hammers and the gunners settled for a 3: draw in a very entertaining football match. There were individual brilliance in this game especially Andy Carroll who got a hat trick to help his side hold the gunners to a draw. Early goals from Mesut Ozil and ALEXIS Sanchez had set the gunners on a win, but two successive goals from Carroll canceled out the goals in the first half. The English man then scored in the second half to help his side lead in the game for the first time, but a goal from koceilny ensures the gunners return to the emirate with a point.

Aston villa 1: 2 Bournemouth

Aton villa continue their poor form and relegation battle with losing at home to an inform Bournemouth side, the villains are really going for a relegation this term. The result mean Aston villas are bottom of the table with 27 points, while Bournemouth are 11^th with 41 points.

Crystal palace 1: 0 Norwich

A very good performance from crystal palace saw them defeat Norwich by a lone goal. This game was everything but entertaining to me. The result means palaces are 16^th with 37 points in the table while Norwich are 17^th with 31 points.

Southampton 3: 1 Newcastle

Newcastle who are adjusting to managerial change with Rafael Benitez were hamper  3 : 1 by Southampton thus making it hard for Newcastle to try and avoid relegation. Southampton are now in 7^th position with 50 points while Newcastle are second from bottom of the table.

Swansea 1: 0 Chelsea

The swans put up a very fine performance against Chelsea at home to win by a lone goal. Swansea are now in 12^th position with 40 points while Chelsea occupy the 10^th position with 44 points.

Watford 1: 1 Everton

Both teams were happy to settle for a draw after an entertaining game which saw both side produce fine performance. The result left Watford 15^th in the league with 38 points while Everton are 14^th with 39 points.

Man city 2: 1 west brom

Well man city are trying to keep their slim tittle hope alive as the defeated west brom 2 goals to 1. City are now in 4^th position with 53 points, two points behind third place arsenal. West brom on their hand are in 13^th with 40 points.

The fox keep their tittle dream alive by producing a fine display to beat Sunderland away from home by two goals. They maintain their lead at the top of the table by 7 points. Sunderland are 18^th with 27 points.

Stoke city got a hampering in the hands of Liverpool after they were defeated 4 goals to 1. The result left them with 47 points in 9^th position while Liverpool are 8^th with 48 points.

Tottenham 3: 0 man utd

Tottenham defeated man utd by 3 goals. United put up one of their poor performance in this game. Tottenham are keeping pace with table topper Leicester city. United are 5^th with 53 points.

WHY LEICESTER CITY MAY WIN THE LEAGUE

With  just less than seven games remaining in the English premier league, the race for the tittle and well as champion league qualification is really heating up. The top four are really fighting hard to stay where they are; the teams below them are fighting hard to overthrow them. Also those ways down the table are fighting to avoid relegation. At the top of the table is perhaps a surprise, Leicester city is leading the packs. The fox are on sixty nine points, seven points above their closest rivals totentham .

The fox are in a very surprising position in the league table and I know many people actually felt they will slip up with time and let the big boys in the league win it. But I don’t think that will be the case as I think we should start to take them seriously. Here are the reasons I think they might win the league this year.


Believe:   I know most people think they are just tittle pretenders, but the fox have gone way beyond just tittle pretenders, they are even the tittle favorites as it stands now, and that is down to the believe in the squad. The players and the fans are starting to believe they have the quality to do it and I think that is what is keeping them up there in the table.


Quality: with the believe that they can do it, they also have the quality in the squad to win the league, they have players like Mahrez, Vardy, Kante and many more who can the cause of a game with one individual brilliance. Their players are so good that I think the best player of the season will even be from their squad.


The big clubs are all slipping up: with the big clubs who are expected to win the league all slipping up and out of form, the fox have the best chance to win the league and I think they know it and are really working hard to do it. Clubs like Arsenal, man city, Manchester united and Chelsea are all fumbling and this give the fox a good opportunity to win the title this year.

The manager: the fox have one of the tactically good manager in the league and that is why they are playing a very good and entertaining football. I think the manager must have told them how extra ordinary it will be if they surprise everyone by winning the league this year.

The fans: well this may not be really that significant, but the fox have fans that love and believe in their club that they always play the eleventh man in the pitch.
